Ingredients

Cream Cheese Dip:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
  • 8 ounces vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar more to taste

Kabobs:

  • 12 wooden skewers
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 kiwis
  • ½ cup grapes
  • ½ cup blackberries
  • 2 cuties
  • Or other fruits of your choice

Instructions

Cream Cheese Dip:

  • Beat cream cheese for 2 minutes until fluffy. Stir in yogurt and ¼ of brown sugar until well combined. Add more brown sugar if you'd like your fruit dip to be a little sweeter.
  • Pour into a serving bowl and chill for 1 hour.

Kabobs:

  • Slice the banana and kiwis and place them in small bowls. Peel the cuties and place them in a bowl as well.
  • Layer the fruit onto the skewers according to your liking, leaving 1-2 inches uncovered on each end.
  • Serve immediately with the cream cheese dip and enjoy!

Notes

  • Rainbow Fruit Kabobs - choose various in season fruits in the different colors of the rainbow to thread on the skewers.
  • Monochromatic - Choose fruits that are all in the same color family, like oranges and cantaloupe and papaya.
  • Add marshmallows - Thread a couple of jumbo marshmallows in between every 2 pieces of fruit.
  • Make Ahead: Cut up fruits a day ahead of time and thread on the skewers about an hour before serving. Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
  • Storage: Store leftover fruit skewers in an airtight container or plastic resealable bag for up to 2-3 days.
  • Freezing fruits: You can absolutely freeze any of the fruits you cut and don't use. Place the cut up fruit on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and flash freeze for one hour. Transfer to a freezer bag and store for up to 6 months. Frozen fruit can be thawed and used for kabobs or tossed into smoothies, pancakes or ice cream.
